Excellent food.. used to be favorite lunch spot but now they've increased their prices and no lunch specials anymore unfortunately. Would highly recommend though for good food! Super delicious. The chicken and eggplant parm sandwiches have been myself and coworker favorites for years until the recent price hike. Hard to justify 18 bucks for a eggplant parm sandwich. Now it'll be a once every month or two spot not weekly like it used to be.. but it is so damn good!! Can't recommend Ellies high enough!

The best drinks, the best veggie pizza and penne vodka ever. Honestly so glad I came across this place. Erica makes amazing drinks and the food is SPECTACUlar.

Favorite lunch spot in Newark. Friendly staff, fresh and yummy food, good vibes. Reasonably priced too. Stop by this hidden gem on the way to a Devils game or event at Prudential - you won’t be disappointed.

It's small, cozy, and delicious - like a proper bistro. The brick oven pizzas are excellent, and definitely their best dish. Pastas and salad ain't far behind, tho. Excellent place for a drink as well, be it draft or cocktail. There's a bar and tables, service is great in either. All in all, solid place.

Absolutely loved this place! The pasta was fresh and full of flavor. Great atmosphere and friendly staff made the experience even better. Drinks were top-notch too. The Negroni was perfectly balanced, and the Aperol Spritz was light and refreshing. We ended with a delicious tiramisu that was the perfect touch. Authentic, cozy, and delicious, highly recommend!
